To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager who combines commercial drive with a genuine interest in manufacturing technology and customer success.

Your Role

As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing our business throughout the Benelux. You will work closely with electronics manufacturers to understand their production challenges and recommend the most effective equipment and process solutions.

You will:

• Develop long-term relationships with existing customers while actively identifying new business opportunities.

• Advise customers on complete manufacturing solutions, from individual machines to fully integrated production lines.

• Manage the complete sales process, including prospecting, solution development, quotations, negotiations, and closing.

• Work closely with our application specialists and service engineers to deliver tailored solutions.

• Represent SMD-TEC at customer visits, trade fairs, and industry events.

• Maintain an active understanding of developments within the electronics manufacturing industry and identify opportunities for growth.

• Build strong partnerships with our international suppliers and contribute to the successful introduction of new technologies into the Benelux market.

Your Profile

You are an experienced sales professional who enjoys combining technical understanding with commercial excellence. 

Ideally, you have:

• Several years of successful B2B sales experience in capital equipment, industrial automation, electronics manufacturing, or a related technical industry.

• Experience selling complex technical solutions rather than standard products.

• Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills.

• The ability to communicate confidently with production managers, process engineers, manufacturing directors, and executive management.

• A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude with a strong sense of ownership.

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a strong advantage.

• Willingness to travel throughout the Benelux & to our suppliers in Europe.

Experience with SMT production, PCB assembly, inspection systems, dispensing technology, or electronics manufacturing is highly valued but not essential for candidates with a strong technical sales background.
